St. Croix Central and Ellsworth are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2015, but not for long. Last Friday, St. Croix Central was fully in charge, breezing past Baldwin-Woodville 54-21 on the road. St. Croix Central pushed the score to 33-7 by the end of the third, a deficit Baldwin-Woodville had little chance of recovering from.
Meanwhile, even though Prescott scored an imposing 34 points two Fridays ago, Ellsworth still came out on top. Ellsworth managed a 40-34 win over Prescott. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Ellsworth.
Their wins bumped St. Croix Central to 7-1 and Ellsworth to 5-3.
St. Croix Central lost to Ellsworth at home by a decisive 28-13 margin in their previous meeting back in October of 2022. Will St. Croix Central have more luck at home instead of on the road?
