The Campbell-Savona Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Canisteo-Greenwood 69-35. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Campbell-Savona in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the loss, Campbell-Savona still got an impressive performance from Jackson Kibler, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Chance Miller, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Campbell-Savona dropped their record down to 1-16 with that loss, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Canisteo-Greenwood, the victory (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 16-1.
Campbell-Savona will head out on the road to take on the Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Canisteo-Greenwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
