Nandua has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against The Washington Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Washington took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Nandua, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, everything came up roses for Nandua at home against Arcadia as the team secured a 50-16 victory.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Washington, who are still winless after their seventh matchup. They were dealt a 54-6 loss at the hands of Cambridge-South Dorchester on Friday.
Nandua's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Washington, their loss was their 16th straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-7.
Everything came up roses for Nandua against Washington in their previous meeting back in September of 2022 as the team secured a 40-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Nandua since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
