The North Moore Mustangs will face off against the Bear Grass Charter Bears on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
North Moore is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Tuesday. They blew past Chatham Charter 13-3. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Mustangs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Calissa Clendenin was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with three  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Rylee Welch, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  run.
 North Moore was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .522. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  batting average total in three consecutive  matchups.
 Meanwhile, Bear Grass Charter won against Hobgood Charter  on Thursday with 15  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Tuesday. The Bears never let North Edgecombe get on the board and left with  a   15-0  win. The  victory was nothing new for the Bears as they're now sitting on four straight.
 Bear Grass Charter's win was  their ninth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 20-4. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for North Moore, their win bumped their record up to 15-7.
