The Bishop Snyder Cardinals won the last time they faced the Clay Blue Devils, and things went their way on Friday too. Bishop Snyder walked away with a 51-43 win over Clay.
It was another big night for Asya Jones, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. Jones is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tara Crews, who scored 17 points.
Bishop Snyder's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Clay, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5.
Bishop Snyder will head out on the road to challenge Middleburg at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Middleburg will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Clay, they will be playing at home against St. Johns Country Day at 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
