Jersey is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. Everything went their way against Marquette Catholic on Friday as they made off with  a  15-3 victory. The  win was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.
 Anna Kribs and  Chloe Beemer did most of the damage at the plate:  Kribs  went 2-for-4 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and two  doubles, while  Beemer  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs and three  RBI. That's the most  hits  Beemer has posted since back in May of 2024.  Holly Brainerd was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs and two  RBI.
 Jersey  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marquette Catholic struck out six times.
 Meanwhile, while Collinsville put up plenty of  runs on Friday, the same  can't be said for Althoff Catholic. The Kahoks put the hurt on the Crusaders with a sharp  15-0 victory. That 15 run margin sets a new team best for the Kahoks this season.
 Jersey's win bumped their record up to 6-11-1. As for Collinsville, their victory bumped their record up to 6-13.
 Jersey took their  win against Collinsville  in their previous matchup  back in March of 2024 by a conclusive  7-1 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success,  or do  the Kahoks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
