Walker extended their home winning streak to 32 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Arionna Patterson. The Walker Wildcats blew past the East Ascension Spartans 74-40 on Tuesday thanks in part to Patterson, who almost dropped a triple-double on 33 points, ten boards, and nine steals. The contest was her sixth in a row with at least ten points.
The team also got some help courtesy of Talayjah Goza, who posted five points in addition to ten rebounds and seven steals. Those ten boards gave her a new career-high.
Walker's victory bumped their record up to 26-1. As for East Ascension, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-4 record this season.
Walker wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 82-28 win against Live Oak on the 30th. East Ascension does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
