The defeat snapped Strathmore's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-2 record. Colunga and Strathmore will head out to face off against Granite Hills at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

Jose Cortes Delivers Electric Performance Vs Farmersville
The second Lindsay player making an appearance here is Jose Cortes, and for good reason. He rushed for 136 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.0 yards per carry.
Unfortunately for Farmersville, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Cortes. When Cortes last faced the Aztecs back in October of 2023, he rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries.
