The San Rafael Bulldogs can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They had just enough and edged Archie Williams out 16-14. The win was just what San Rafael needed coming off of a 35-0 loss in their prior game.
Leading San Rafael to victory were Jameson Fondnazio and Lachlan Royston. Fondnazio picked up 73 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Royston threw for 150 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.9% of his passes.
San Rafael's victory bumped their record up to 4-4. As for Archie Williams, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
San Rafael will head out on the road to face off against Marin Catholic at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Marin Catholic's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last three matches. As for Archie Williams, they have the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Redwood at 11:30 a.m. on October 28th.
