Volleyball Recap: Rangely Gets the Win

Rangely hasn't had much luck at home recently (they'd lost three straight ) but thanks in part to Isabella Cox that streak is no more. The Panthers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Manila Mustangs on Saturday with plenty of help from Cox, who had three digs and two aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Rangely had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-15, 25-13, 25-14.

Rangely's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Manila, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Rangely and North Park will shake off the rust and duke it out at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Manila, they will be playing at home against St. Joseph at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
