There's no place like home for the Taylorsville Warriors, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They took down Stansbury 56-42 on Tuesday. For Taylorsville, this counts as revenge for the 41-40 loss Stansbury walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2016.
Taylorsville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Marlee Reupena out in front who scored 17 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Reupena has scored at least 25% of Taylorsville's points. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Harrison, who scored 12 points.
Taylorsville now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Stansbury, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Taylorsville will square off against Murray at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stansbury, they will head out on the road to face off against Grantsville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Grantsville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 last Friday.
