Central Christian Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They lost to Pretty Prairie on the road by a decisive 50-32 margin.
Pretty Prairie's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Evan Young, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cordell Colton, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Central Christian Academy dropped their record down to 2-5 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Pretty Prairie, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Christian Academy will take on Wichita HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wichita HomeSchool presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Central Christian Academy in Kansas (Wichita HomeSchool is ranked 105th, while Central Christian Academy is ranked 308th). As for Pretty Prairie, they will be playing at home against Central Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
