Brady Atwell was his usual excellent self, throwing for 476 yards and five touchdowns, while also rushing for 92 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries for Owensboro Catholic. Atwell hasn't dropped below three passing touchdowns for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of William "Tutt" Carrico, who picked up 177 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
Somerset's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Owensboro Catholic, they pushed their record up to 14-0 with that win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.
Somerset does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Owensboro Catholic will take on Mayfield at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Mayfield has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 515 points over their last ten matches.
