The Timpson Bears had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They enjoyed a cozy 35-21 win over Ganado on Thursday. The win was just business as usual for Timpson, who after 15 games remain undefeated this season.
Terry Bussey continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 158 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 204 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80.8% of his passes. Bussey has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last three times he's played.
When it comes to explaining why Ganado lost, one person who can't be blamed is Bryce Ullman. Despite the final result, he threw for 80 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Timpson's win bumped their record up to 15-0. As for Ganado, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-3.
Timpson is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Tolar at 7:00 p.m. on December 13th. Tolar knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 12 matches -- so hopefully Timpson likes a good challenge. Ganado does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
