The Handley Judges put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against James Wood as Handley made off with a 63-43 win. Handley might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won six matches by 20 points or more this season.
James Wood lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Nayah Edwards, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Edwards set a new season high mark in steals with eight. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Shirley, who scored 15 points.
Handley's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0. As for James Wood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
Handley will head out on the road to face off against Spotswood at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for James Wood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sherando at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
