After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Oxford, Littlestown was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Fairfield Knights 6-5. The Thunderbolts haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Logan Hoover was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Bossom, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
Littlestown's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Fairfield, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.
