In what's become a running theme this season, the West Seneca West Warhawks gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They really took it to Williamsville East for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-28 win at home. The victory was just what West Seneca West needed coming off of a 72-50 defeat in their prior contest.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Seneca West to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayden Ecker, who scored 12 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ava Gunnells, who scored 14 points along with five blocks.
West Seneca West's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Williamsville East, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
West Seneca West will stay at home for another game and welcome Amherst Central at 11:30 a.m. on January 27th. Williamsville East's road trip will continue as they head out to face Sweet Home at 6:30 p.m. on January 29th.
