The Timberland Wolves fought the good fight in their overtime match against the Bishop England Battling Bishops on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Battling Bishops by a score of 45-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Timberland has suffered yet this season.
Timberland lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Da?Sani Kinlaw, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Zion Prioleau was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three steals and two blocks.
Timberland's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Bishop England, the win (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 17-1.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Oceanside Collegiate Academy the next time they take the court. Bishop England will host Oceanside Collegiate Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Timberland will host them at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
