Sheldon came tearing into Saturday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 47-19 stomp they got against the Lakeridge Pacers. The contest marked the Irish's most dominant victory of the season so far.

Sheldon's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Lakeridge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sheldon will venture away from home to face off against St. Mary's Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
