The John Adams Academy Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 63-40 defeat at the hands of Foresthill. John Adams Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildfires apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Foresthill's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Austin Moore led the charge by scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was David Silveria, who scored 15 points along with five steals.
John Adams Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-20 record this season. As for Foresthill, the win got them back to even at 13-13.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. John Adams Academy will take on the Explorers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Westlake Charter is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Foresthill, they will be playing at home against the Saints at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
