It was a good run, but Chaminade unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 70-50 to the Brentwood School Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Chaminade has suffered since December 5, 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Chaminade lost, don't look at Koby Nichols. Despite the final result, he went 9 of 16 on his way to 23 points. Those 23 points gave Nichols a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Magee, who posted 12 points.

Chaminade's defeat dropped their record down to 16-3. As for Brentwood School, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

Chaminade wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 52-50 win against Palos Verdes on the 4th. As for Brentwood School, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-66 victory against Viewpoint on the 3rd.
