Jackson Okonkwo made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched four innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
In other batting news, Jack Bonney was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Thomas Conrad was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Greenbrier Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 23-4. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-7.
