Ryle's found some homefield redemption this week after a  overtime loss to Milan on Monday. The Raiders were the clear victors by  a  10-3 margin over the Boone County Rebels. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by seven  runs or more this season.
 Laci DeLauder was a  major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 12 batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   six  hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Kam Patterson was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and one  stolen base. That  home run marked the first that  she has  launched this season. Another player making a difference was  Rayne Patsel, who  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
Ryle has  been performing  well recently as they've  won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-1 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Boone County, they moved to 3-13 with that  defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ryle is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Conner  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Boone County will  face off against  rival Cooper  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
