Dean Buxton made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Buxton was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.
In other batting news, Joey Celano and Sam Wade did most of the damage at the plate: Celano went 3-for-3 with three runs, a triple, and an RBI, while Wade scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Johnnie Bona was another key contributor, going 2-for-5 with two stolen bases and two RBI.
Master's Academy pushed their record up to 5-5 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
