Iris Albert was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Meanwhile, Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 35th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-6 to To'hajiilee.
The win made it two in a row for Hozho Academy and bumps their season record up to 17-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.0 runs over those games. As for Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 0-17.
