Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alexis Witzel, who had 29 digs, five kills, and two blocks. Witzel is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 18 or more in each of the last nine games she's played. Victoria Jimenez Garcia was another key player, getting 20 digs, eight kills, and three aces.
Burney's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for CORE Butte, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.
