Nokomis' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Natalie Brownback, who scored 11 points along with two steals. Alivia Sabol was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Calhoun is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. As for Nokomis, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-9.
