Naselle came tearing into Saturday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 40.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Ocosta Wildcats, posting a 40-0 win. The Comets' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Naselle's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Ocosta, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Naselle is set to take on their familiar foe Oakville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Ocosta will square off against rival Northwest Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
