When it comes to explaining why Spring Valley lost, one person who can't be blamed is Alijah Adem. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 35 points and 6 assists. Adem also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season.
Spring Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Heritage Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.
Spring Valley will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against St. Francis at 9:00 p.m. on December 16th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in their respective states (St. Francis is ranked 47th in California, while Spring Valley is ranked 27th in Nevada). Heritage Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Beverly Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Beverly Hills is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
