On Friday Mt. Pleasant take on Solon at 7:00 PM. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a win streak alive as Mt. Pleasant skips in on four wins and Solon on six.
Mt. Pleasant got themselves on the board against Keokuk last Friday, but Keokuk never followed suit. Mt. Pleasant put a hurting on Keokuk to the tune of 53-0. The margin was wide but not a surprise since Mt. Pleasant are ranked far ahead of Keokuk in the MaxPreps state rankings.
Meanwhile, Solon took their matchup against Washington by a conclusive 37-14 score. Followers of Solon probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
Mt. Pleasant have to be hurting after a devastating 0-33 defeat at the hands of Solon the last time the two teams met. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
