They escaped with a win against Southeast by the margin of a single free throw, 47-46. This was payback for Aquinas, who suffered a 36-21 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Aquinas was led to victory by K'Lynn Carter and Paris Everett. Carter dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 rebounds, while Everett dropped a double-double on 17 points and 17 rebounds. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Carter has scored at least 25% of Aquinas' points.
Aquinas' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7. As for Southeast, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.
