While Trent didn't have the best season last year (they finished 1-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Moran Bulldogs 44-10. The Gorillas have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Moran lost, don't look at Cotton Campbell. Despite the final result, he posted eight points.

The victory made it two in a row for Trent and bumps their season record up to 10-3. As for Moran, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Trent wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 48-40 win against Paint Creek on the 13th. As for Moran, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 30-13 defeat against Lueders-Avoca on the 13th.
