While Williams Valley's victory against Northern Lehigh wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 win over the Bulldogs on Monday. Give the Vikings' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.
Kamri Koppenhaver was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Meanwhile, Schuylkill Haven was not the first on the board on Thursday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against Minersville by a score of 9-5 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).
Danica Snyder was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aisley Jenan, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Williams Valley hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .383. However, it's not like Schuylkill Haven struggles in that department as they've averaged .362. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Williams Valley's way against Schuylkill Haven in their previous matchup on April 2nd, as Williams Valley made off with a 13-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
