Leesville Road had won four straight home games dating back to last season and Finley Lewis did her part to make it five on Friday. The Pride walked away with a 60-52 victory over the Heritage Huskies with plenty of help from Lewis, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 14 boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down 11 or more in each of the last seven games she's played dating back to last season.

When it comes to explaining why Heritage lost, don't look at REAGAN MONDELL-LONG. Despite the final result, she posted 16 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Celia LaVita, who earned ten points and four steals.

Leesville Road's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Heritage, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Leesville Road wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 51-28 victory against Green Hope on the 24th. As for Heritage, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-18 win against Riverside-Durham on the 22nd.
