After flying high against Antelope  last Friday, West Park came back down to earth. The Panthers were  outmatched by the Grant Pacers and fell  38-3. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  24-3.
 Even if they lost, West Park's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess:  Griffin Bevans and  Jack Lynch, who each picked up 1.5  sacks apiece.
 A big part of Grant's  win came down to the chemistry between  Blake Nycum and his top target  Koby Shabazz. Nycum threw for 249 yards and three  touchdowns on only 19 passes while  Shabazz picked up 65 receiving yards and a pair of  TDs.
West Park's  loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-4. As for Grant,  the  victory  got them back to even at 4-4.
