Germantown Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight  loss  dating back to last season. They were  outmatched by the Christian Academy Eagles and fell  62-31. One positive for the Conquerors, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
Despite the loss, Germantown Christian still got an impressive performance from   Grace Smith, who  went 11 of 17  en route to 26 points and seven  rebounds. That was a full 83.9% of Germantown Christian's points, marking the seventh time in a row she's   posted  more than a third of the team's points.
 Even though they lost, Germantown Christian was working as a unit and  finished the game with 12  assists. That's the most  assists they've managed all season.
Germantown Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Christian Academy, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
 Germantown Christian will be playing at home against Dominion Academy  at 6:15  p.m.  on Monday. As for Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Calvary Christian  at 7:30  p.m.  on January 27th.
