In what's become a running theme this season, the Bishop Machebeuf Buffaloes gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Dawson School 57-14 at home. The victory was familiar territory for Bishop Machebeuf who now have three in a row.
Bishop Machebeuf found their leader in underclassman Eve Brustkern, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten steals. Another player making a difference was Massaran Ciza, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Bishop Machebeuf is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Dawson School, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-7.
Bishop Machebeuf will head out on the road to face off against Denver Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Dawson School, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Belleview Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
