Hamilton put the finishing touches on their 17th blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They breezed by Frost at home to the tune of 61-34. 61 seems to be a good number for Hamilton as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Brooklyn Bragg and Kelton Wright were among the main playmakers for Hamilton as the former dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds and the latter almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds. Hamilton pushed their record up to 22-9 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.6 points per game. As for Hico, their victory bumped their record up to 7-24.
Everything came up roses for Hamilton against Hico when the teams last played back in November of 2023 as the team secured a 56-21 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hamilton since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
