 Meanwhile,  after failing to score in their last  match, Lansing made sure to put some  goals up on the board against Bonner Springs  on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Braves  an   8-0 shutout. It was an even better day for  Macaria Hemker as  she scored four goals for  her team.
 Hayden was the clear victor by  a  6-0 margin over Lansing in their previous meeting  back in March of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hayden since the  squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
