Somerset Prep's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their tenth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Western, falling 68-28. Somerset Prep was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-7.
Western got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Maddox Fowles out in front who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and six blocks. Stefan Frisby was another key contributor, scoring six points along with nine assists and two steals.
Somerset Prep's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-15. As for Western, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.
Somerset Prep will head out on the road to challenge Flanagan at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Flanagan is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Western does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
