The Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders won the last time they faced the Eastlake Titans, and things went their way  on Friday too. Mater Dei Catholic was the clear victor by a  36-14 margin over Eastlake. With Mater Dei Catholic ahead  20-0 at the half, the  matchup was all but over already.
 Mater Dei Catholic's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Jordan Jackson, who rushed for 104 yards and  a touchdown on only 12 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of  Anthony McMillian Jr., who gained 97 total yards and two touchdowns.
 When it comes to explaining why Eastlake lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Kingston Schaaf. Despite the final result, he rushed for 44 yards and two touchdowns.
 Even if they lost, Eastlake's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Leading the way was  Anthony Hinojosa and his two sacks.
 Mater Dei Catholic has  traveled a rocky road recently, as they've  lost three of their last four contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season. As for Eastlake, they are  on a three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-6.
 Mater Dei Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Eastlake is also done with their season.
