Oswego was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Plainfield North. The Panthers came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
Oswego extended the longest winning streak in Southwest Prairie this week by beating the Tigers, 28-21. The victory was the eighth in a row for Brian Cooney's team.
Oswego's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brett Wainwright has thrown for 896 yards and 16 touchdowns this season, while Jack Kwiatkowski has 30 catches for 629 yards. Mickeel Stewart leads the league in rushing with 1201 yards.
