Denmark's four-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They walked away with a 59-50 victory over South Forsyth. The win was just what Denmark needed coming off of a 76-46 defeat in their prior contest.
Denmark's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emma Hempker, who scored 22 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Huffman, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Denmark's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for South Forsyth, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.
Denmark will head out on the road to square off against Forsyth Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Forsyth Central is on a seven-game streak of home losses, Denmark a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. South Forsyth will take on Lambert at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
