The Raymond Central Mustangs had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past Falls City with a 26-21 victory on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Raymond Central also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Raymond Central was led to victory by Kyle Peterson and Wyatt Jelinek. Peterson rushed for 163 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries, while Jelinek rushed for 217 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry. Peterson's longest rush was for an incredible 92 yards.
Raymond Central's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Falls City, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-7.
