The Grandview Prep Pride scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Lake Worth Christian 88-68. The victory was familiar territory for Grandview Prep who now have six in a row.
Grandview Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Marco Jordonne out in front who scored 39 points along with seven rebounds. Jordonne continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Xavian Charles, who scored 19 points along with nine assists and four steals.
Grandview Prep's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Lake Worth Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
Grandview Prep will head out on the road to face off against American Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. American Heritage is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Lake Worth Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Forest Hill at 12:00 p.m. on December 27th.
