The Wausa Vikings were the 55-37 winner over the Osmond/Randolph Hawks when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Wausa fell just short of Osmond/Randolph by a score of 38-35. Wausa has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Wausa still got an impressive performance from Colton Baue, who scored 16 points.
Osmond/Randolph was led to victory by Luke Harder and Hunter Buchanan. Harder scored eight points, while Buchanan scored nine points along with four steals.
Wausa has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Osmond/Randolph, their victory bumped their record up to 5-14.
Wausa won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hartington-Newcastle at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. Hopefully Hartington-Newcastle focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Monday. As for Osmond/Randolph, they will be playing at home against Stuart at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Osmond/Randolph is facing Stuart at the right time seeing as Stuart is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
