Mikaelynn Miles made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed eight innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off 11 hits. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Abella Garza, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played.
