Rich found their leader in sophomore Hudson Parry, who rushed for 151 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries. Parry got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 81 yards. Another player making a difference was Carter Hoffman, who rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown.
With the loss, Monticello broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-4. As for Rich, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
