The Absegami Braves''s four-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They breezed by Bridgeton on the road to the tune of 35-6. The victory was just what Absegami needed coming off of a 52-13 defeat in their prior matchup.
Absegami can attribute much of their success to Kendall Armstrong iv, who threw for 229 yards and three touchdowns. Andrew Whyee made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Absegami's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Bridgeton, their defeat was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-9.
Absegami does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bridgeton is also done with their season.
