While Northern Nash's victory against C.B. Aycock wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights skirted past the Golden Falcons 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since March 14, 2025.

Northern Nash's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Landon Keefe, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs Keefe has posted since back in April of 2025. Chase Jones also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Northern Nash and bumps their season record up to 2-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for C.B. Aycock, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
